9 MORE Clean Gaming Channels on YouTube + 1 Gaming Show

Kirsten | June 18, 2022 | Updated July 19, 2022

Guys, I bought data to write this post in the car, but the data failed me. :( After my dad’s car trip, we packed up our house and got on a plane so this is the first free moment I’ve had. I’m in the Korean Air lounge at Incheon airport--it’s pretty nice. :>

The cover art for this post is from Reinyx's channel. She'll be the sixth channel mentioned in my post.

I have a grading scale for how clean content is now. It's pretty straightforward, but if you want to understand it better, then check out my Blog Update 1.0. The main thing to know is that lower PG applies to first grade and up, while upper PG upplies to third/fourth grade and up.

#1 Lordkanter

Lordkanter makes video tutorials on how to recreate DSMP builds, mostly. He also has some very popular videos that are compilations of all Tommyinnit’s songs from his streams. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy watching a video about how to recreate a build, but I actually found it interesting and kind of relaxing with the soft music in the background. :P

#2 Jamieraven

Jamieraven has a ton of content focused on Minecraft Hide or Hunt & surviving Minecraft in modded worlds. His older videos focus on Minecraft Factions, which is the content I enjoy the most. He’s pretty laid back for a Minecraft YouTuber, but he’s also skilled which keeps the videos interesting. I think all his videos are squeaky clean because Jamieraven has never said anything inappropriate in the videos I’ve watched.

#3 im a squid kid

If you like Technoblade, then you might like Squid Kid’s channel because it shows a different perspective of the Great Potato War. :P I find Squid Kid’s channel interesting on it’s own, though, so you don’t have to like Technoblade to watch it. (As long as we’re mentioning Technoblade, I gotta admit he’s not on this post because my bro wanted to recommend him in his upcoming guest post.) One of his more recent videos about IRL trading in Hypixel Skyblock was very interesting + educational which is always a good combo. His content is Skyblock focused and mostly clean because I’ve watched a few of his videos and only caught one swear word.

#4 Hannahxxrose

I watched a couple of Hannahxxrose’s videos and there was one swear word that was bleeped out (although you could kind of hear what it was). I think she has a lot of young adult viewers, but her content also seems targeted toward kids. Most of her content is focused on Bedwars and the Dream SMP. I don’t know why I was expecting Hannahxxrose to be chill, but it turns out she’s just as chaotic as most of the DSMP members. If you like content from channels like Purpled, you’ll probably like her too. :)

#5 Stampylonghead

This channel was recommended by my friend. I watched one of his videos and it is definitely clean and wholesome, since the content is aimed at very young kids. A lot of teens/young adults also like Stampylonghead’s channel because it brings them nostalgia.

I found the plot of the video I watched quite cute and entertaining, so I would definitely watch his videos again if I had the time. I would say it’s like watching a good kids’ show just because you feel like it at the time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

#6 Reinyx

Reinyx is technically an animatics channel, but I figured animatics channels should make the cut if they're gaming-focused. Reinyx mainly animates clips of Technoblade, and they’re quite wholesome. :) Beyond her content being super clean (except for like one video with a swear word) and fun, there’s a huge quantity on her channel that adds to the appeal.

#7 Kazoo Does Art

Kazoo animates some clips that have swearing in them, but she bleeps them out. Her videos are hilarious. When I watch them, I feel like I’m watching mini episodes of a show. :D She focuses on clips of members of the DSMP.

#8 SAD-ist

SAD-ist’s name is just a play on words, it’s not meant to actually relate to sadism. Her content is a bit clean since she bleeps some swearing out (but not all of it), though she does illustrate some of the darker aspects of the DSMP (like the excessive violence). Kids in elementary might be scared by some of her creepy aesthetics or heavy action scenes.

SAD-ist is a legend. Her animatics play out like blockbuster movies, with beautiful designs and cuts. Her videos are commonly regarded as the standard of DSMP lore. I don’t know what else to say, because she is just so good. I would rate her channel as being at the same level of clean-ness as pg-13 blockbuster movies like the Captain America trilogy (also I caught an F-word in one of her videos, so...).

#9 Pix Bit

Pix Bit creates DSMP and Minecraft animatics. Her videos are often shorter and more meme-y. I like that she creates a variety of content, and I think her style is unique. This is just my personal opinion, but I think younger kids would love this channel because the character designs & stuff remind me of Sesame Street, for some reason.

+1 Polaris: Player Select

Player Select was a show on Disney XD that played parts of videos from gamers like Jacksepticeye and Markiplier. This show was actually the first time my brother and I watched gaming, and it was so addictive that we got back into it through YouTube. What’s great about this show is that it’s edited to be clean, and if you’ve seen Jacksepticeye or Markiplier’s channels, you know they aren’t clean on YouTube. So if you like those gamers (or Disney channel, I guess), then this show would be a great choice.

Well guys, I think I’ll post about anime-themed activities to try over the summer next. :) I also want to put out more posts focused on music & movies/tv shows, since those are popular during the summer. My bro's guest post that will have similar recommendations to this post is probably going to come out in a few weeks, if you want more content like the stuff I recommended.
