10 of My Favorite Family-Friendly YouTube Videos
Kirsten | July 16, 2022
I wasn't planning to do this, but since I had some spare time between studying for the ACT, I figured I might make a quick post. My bro's guest appearance plus a blog update with some changes I'll be making should be what comes after this post. I have a playlist full of clean videos I watch with my family when we're all hanging out, so I was thinking of doing a series where I recommend those videos. Anyway, I don't think I'll provide much commentary, I just wanted to give some quick recommendations.
These videos are great to watch with the family, but the channels they come from might not actually be clean. (Just the videos themselves.) This is my first post focusing on YouTube in general, so I'm kinda hyped. :>
"Russia Pronouncing U.S. States (Country Humans) Animatic" by JuneArtCraft19
I'm realizing a lot of these videos are kinda international... :/ Well, there's nothing wrong with that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I watched this one with my mom after supper (to procrastinate on homework) and she thought it was cute.
"How Asian Parents Flex 2" by Steven He
This video has 1 swear word. I don't know if this has been the case for you guys, but Steven He was really popular at my international school. Everyone was going around saying "FAI-LURE" for the longest time. (^▽^ ;)
"News Anchor Laughs at Worst Police Sketch Fail (New Blooper)" by NewsFunnies
My family loves watching news bloopers. I remember when we were packing up our house to move to Myanmar, we had news bloopers playing on the TV for hours to keep us entertained.
"Breathtaking Pictogram Performance at Tokyo 2020 Opening Ceremony" by Olympics
This was one of my favorite parts of the 2020 olympics. My family was travelling at the time, so we watched it in the hotel.
"Testing Netflix's Breakable Movie Props" by Jolly
Jolly is really popular in Korea, so lots of people at my school in Thailand know it (the student body is about 30% Korean there). This is probably my mom's favorite YouTube channel. :)
"If Social Media Platforms Were a Family" by Trey Kennedy
Everyone in my family found this video funny, so I figured it was a good one to recommend.
"Titanic with a Cat" by OwlKitty
This was really good. I'm pretty sure the behind-the-scenes video for this was clean too, so I guess I should add it. It was interesting to see. If you're interested in film or photography, that would be a good video to watch.
"The Disney Genre Challenge ft. Peter Hollens" by Brian Hull
Brian Hull has a really interesting YouTube channel, and it's totally clean so I would recommend it. Me and my bro used to watch him together when I was in middle school. This is one of my favorite videos from his channel.
"Penn & Teller FOOLED! Incredible Funny Time Travel Trick! / Fool Us/ Noel Qualter" by Noel Qualter
Two of the same swear word are in this video. I started watching a lot of Fool Us! in online school to procastinate. (^^ ;) This is one of my favorite videos from that show.
"Best Dance Group on America's Got Talent 2019? | Got Talent Global" by Got Talent Global
Normally my sister and I watch the Got Talent shows together, but this video was so good that I made our parents watch it too. My dad wouldn't stop "woah"-ing the whole time. :>
Well guys, that's it for this short 'n' sweet post. I'm thinking of doing a similar post, but for older kids. I didn't realize how many videos I watch with my family that have more mature humor. (But they're still appropriate, don't worry.) I should be going on vacation for a week starting this Monday, but that's up in the air because my bro finally managed to severely injure himself after aggressively falling several times this week.
