35 Clean Anime Pictures You Can Use As Wallpaper

Also, I'm finally getting this post out there! You have no idea how simultaneously accomplished and exhausted I feel right now. I think now that it's summer, my goal should be back to weekly updates, right? Well, we'll see. I can certainly aim for that, but whether I make it is another matter. The more I think about it, the more I feel like I just chugged six cans of Sprite (not sponsored).

On to the actual post, this list shall include fanart, screenshots, and more. The main constraints are that they have to follow the anime theme in a format that's usable as phone or desktop wallpaper. This post is a bit less heavy on the dialogue since the list is so long. (^-^)ゞ I will list the name of the anime as the title for each item on the list. I'll list the age rating of shows and movies in brackets if they aren't PG.

Howl's Moving Castle is a Studio Ghibli classic. 🤌 It was the first anime movie I ever saw, and it's still at the top of my list as one of my favorites. Besides that, Calcifer is such a quirky character. (≡^∇^≡) I actually opened this image in a photo editor and flipped it around to use as computer wallpaper, if you don't want to use it on your phone.

I know some of y'all will hate on me for posting picture of an actual painting as an option for wallpaper. All I can say is I have used pictures like this as wallpaper so I figured there would be other people out there who'd do likewise. Howl and Calcifer are iconic so hopefully you'll forgive me.

I love class 1-A. [16+ ~ season 5 deals with some villain backstories which I believe is the reason MHA was bumped up from 13+ to 16+, so if you can watch 13+ things then I would just suggest skipping most of season 5]

The Minecraft YouTuber fans reading this may have recognized that this fanart is a crossover between Howl's Moving Castle and the Dream SMP. Fundy has taken the place of Howl in this, and I love that he kills the look.

All Might is one of my favorite MHA (or BNHA) characters. I love how passionate (aggressively happy) he is. [16+]

When mentioning classic Studio Ghibli movies, one cannot neglect to mention Spirited Away. The main characters are so cute and the soundtrack is beautiful. ✨ [This one is not for little kids, but it's not exactly 13+ either. Common Sense Media did a good job of reviewing it, if you're interested.]

The characters in this movie are adorable. Shoya Ishida and Tomohiro Nagatsuka are my favorites, but Shouko Ishimiya is so cute--I had to include this wallpaper. \(^∇^ \ ) [14+ ~ this movie deals with disturbing psychological themes, if you look it up you can see more in depth what I mean if you want to watch the movie]

Some Christians may be concerned by the title, Demon Slayer, but overall the show doesn't deal with actual spiritual themes. The 'demons' could be called 'monsters' or maybe even 'vampires' instead, I think. Personally, I like how death is not treated lightly in the show even though the main character's occupation is slaying demons. I don't know if there's a nickname for the Tanjiro-Inosuke-Zenitsu trio, but they're so hilarious together that there should be. If you know what they're called, please message or comment it. [16+]

I've never seen Attack on Titan, but I like this image and I have a friend who's in love with Levi. :p This is such a fun concept, if I find more art like this I'll make another post. [16+]

This was such a cool re-imagining of Demon Slayer. We need to petition for Demon Slayer to try a Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse-esque crossover between this setting and the original. [16+]

To be honest, I've only seen a few episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen, but I enjoyed the small amount I watched. Some people like the cute wallpapers, some people like the cool ones, and some will use either. I've done my best to include all types for everyone, so hopefully you've found some you like. These three are just too funny together. I like the muted tone of this wallpaper, contrasted with the energy of the three boys. [16+]

I always loved the style of Tanjiro's power, how the water looks like thick silk wrapping around his blade. This unique style of depicting things is a large part of what had me fall in love with the comic, and later the anime. As you can tell, this is one of my current favorite shows. [16+]

I really need to watch more of this. I only know half the characters in this wallpaper. (;-;) I like how cool they look in this one. Yuji looking at the viewer makes it feel more dynamic, which is a plus. [16+]

I like how pretty the Moving Castle looks in this. Even Turnip-Head is included, so obviously I have to recommend this one.

Turnip-Head, my favorite! Or... one of my favorites... All the Studio Ghibli characters are just too precious.

I did not realize how many Studio Ghibli wallpapers I had prepared. I originally had more variety, but a lot of them were removed from Pinterest. Please forgive me. (;-;) Anyway, it's Howl and Sophie standing in a field of flowers, so hopefully it's pretty enough for you not to mind.

I really wanted one of Sabito or Makomo (previous students (?) of Tanjiro's mentor). This was the best I could find. (-.-)b [16+]

I'm amazed I managed to find so many desktop wallpapers. I don't know if anyone else has a thing for Plus Ultra wallpapers, but I do. [16+]

Bakugo wallpaper in the style of a movie poster, who wouldn't want it? Besides that, I love how they included his hero name "Lord Explosion Murder." [16+]

With this, it is confirmed that I like Demon Slayer too much. Tanjiro and Nezuko look so cool in this one, though... (￣∇￣)ゞ [16+]
